Our Ontario Online Learning Grade 11 Online Courses allow students to start on any day of the year and progress through the work entirely at their own pace within twelve (12) months. In grade 11 Online Courses, Students choose when to write open-book quizzes and tests, when to submit assignments, and when to write the proctored final exam. There are no textbooks required. Students will have the same qualified teacher throughout the course as well as free access to online tutoring.
BAF3M Financial Accounting Fundamentals, Grade 11
This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and procedures of accounting. Students will develop financial analysis and decision-making skills that will assist them in future studies and/or career opportunities in business. Students will acquire an understanding of accounting for a service and a merchandising business, computerized accounting, financial analysis, and ethics and current issues in accounting.

This Ontario Online Learning 11th Grade Course introduces the fundamental concepts of product marketing, which includes the marketing of goods, services, and events. Students will examine how trends, issues, global economic changes, and information technology influence consumer buying habits. Students will engage in marketing research, develop marketing strategies, and produce a marketing plan for a product of their choice.

FSF30 FSF3O Core French, Grade 11
This course provides opportunities for students to speak and interact in French in real-life situations. Students will develop their ability to communicate, making connections to previous experiences and using newly acquired skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. They will also increase their understanding and appreciation of diverse French-speaking communities, and will develop skills necessary for lifelong language learning.

ESLDO English, Grade 11
This Ontario Online Learning 11th Grade Course further extends students’ skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English for a variety of everyday and academic purposes. Students will make short classroom oral presentations; read a variety of adapted and original texts in English; and write using a variety of text forms. As well, students will expand their academic vocabulary and their study skills to facilitate their transition to the mainstream school program. This course also introduces students to the rights and responsibilities inherent in Canadian citizenship, and to a variety of current Canadian issues

This Ontario Online Learning 11th Grade Course is for those who have their first language other than English, and further extends students’ skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English for a variety of everyday and academic purposes. ICS3U Introduction to Computer Science, Grade 11
This course introduces students to computer science. Students will design software independently and as part of a team, using industry-standard programming tools and applying the software development life-cycle model. They will also write and use subprograms within computer programs. Students will develop creative solutions for various types of problems as their understanding of the computing environment grows. They will also explore environmental and ergonomic issues, emerging research in computer science, and global career trends in computer-related fields.

MEL3E Mathematics for Work and Everyday Life, Grade 11
This Ontario Online Learning 11th Grade Course introduces basic features of the function by extending students’ experiences with quadratic relations. It focuses on quadratic, trigonometric, and exponential functions and their use in modeling real-world situations. Students will represent functions numerically, graphically, and algebraically; simplify expressions; solve equations; solve problems relating to applications. Students will reason mathematically and communicate their thinking as they solve multi-step problems.

SCH3U Chemistry, Grade 11, Academic
This course enables students to deepen their understanding of chemistry through the study of the properties of chemicals and chemical bonds; chemical reactions and quantitative relationships in those reactions; solutions and solubility; and atmospheric chemistry and the behaviour of gases. Students will further develop their analytical skills and investigate the qualitative and quantitative properties of matter, as well as the impact of some common chemical reactions on society and the environment.
